All of us know that enjoying a drink - soft, alcoholic, or even coffee - is the start of the holiday.
People look forward to that first drink as the sign of their break beginning - and we’re making that a bit easier!
Right through the summer we’re going to be offering passengers the chance to have an Innis & Gunn Lager 0.0% for free. Yes – for free.
It’s a novel concept, we admit that. But we think it’s something that will really fly (sorry).
Located just beyond World Duty Free, the Innis & Gunn tap will be available for people to pour themselves a drink of one of Scotland’s premium non-alcoholic beers.
Free non-alcoholic beer seems like – and is - a giveaway, and Dougal Sharp, Founder of and Master Brewer at Innis & Gunn explained why they are partnering with Edinburgh Airport to offer this:
“One of our main selling points as a country is our fantastic food and drinks, and we want to make sure people can take a taste of Scotland away with them – all in a responsible manner, thanks to our 0.0% lager.”
Other than Innis & Gunn’s new addition, passengers can also enjoy free water in one of the ten taps in our departures area.
"Looking at how we provide choice is a key part of our approach, and by offering free water and free non-alcoholic beer we hope that caters for some of our passengers”, said Gordon Robertson, Chief Communications Officer at Edinburgh Airport.
So, as always, please enjoy responsibly – and make sure your last taste of Scotland when leaving Edinburgh Airport is Innis & Gunn Lager 0.0%.
