Is there a place with more 'must-do' experiences than New York?

It's home to arguably the world's most iconic skyline plus you've got some of the best food and drink you'll find anywhere, fantastic museums and galleries, outstanding parks and greenspaces, and significant historical sites to visit.

With all this in mind we've cobbled together a fun-packed to-do list featuring some of our favourite suggestions for a city break in the Big Apple.

All that and we've barely even scratched the surface. You'll often hear people say it's impossible to do New York properly in one visit - and we wouldn't disagree with that!

While there's so much to see and do all year round, if you're planning to visit NYC in the winter months you'll be in for a treat.

See Central Park under a coat of snow, do some ice-skating on one of the city's al fresco rinks, and visit the illuminated Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center.
